about

This is a track that Kevin recorded with his longtime friend Matt Vanek, who plays guitar on this.  You can hear Matt’s young son, Graeme, having fun near the beginning. I felt moved to add a vibes track and Matt approved. This track sums up what it was like to lose Kevin the way that we did, after the hopeful search.  It's so uplifting and guided by Kevin's drumming as it starts. It just floats along, then it builds in intensity, becomes harsh, and abruptly stops.
